The Time for Change Group (formerly known as Seniors Have Voices), and a joint City/Century House partnership, is organizing a series of workshops focused on advocacy; how to identify, discuss, organize and advocate for change on issues that impact our daily life.
Seniors Have Voices #1
First on the bill is Moira “Mo” Simpson, award winning documentary filmmaker who will be both speaking about and presenting The Thinking Garden. This 2017 film documents the inspiring story of what can happen when three generations of South African village women take matters into their own hands and in the face of drought, poverty and the ravages of HIV/AIDS create a sustainable community garden providing both food and new opportunities for local people.
