Here we go again, or as they say in England, “Phew, what a scorcher!”
Century House is now closed for the long weekend. We’re expecting the heat to ease off a bit for August 1. City facilities will be open July 30-31 for you to enjoy the air conditioning:
- Queensborough Community Centre – 920 Ewen Ave., 8:30 a.m.–8 p.m.
- Anvil Centre – 777 Columbia St., 9 a.m.–8 p.m.
- Public Library – 716 Sixth Ave.; Sat. 10 a.m. –8 p.m., Sun. noon–5 p.m.
