Wednesday Crafts

We share tips and techniques, and create as a group.

We do all types of crafts: knitting, crocheting, sewing, beading, rug hooking, embroidery, cross stitch, plastic canvas, and paper crafts.

Important to Know: Our Group is open to all members of Century House who are interested in crafting. If it has been awhile since you have done any crafting, or if you are having a problem with a project, drop in and see us. We are more than willing to help or brainstorm. The sharing of tips and techniques, as well as a “show and tell” often occurs in our meetings. We have a tea and snack break. The best projects to work on in our meetings are those which don’t require sustained concentration as we are a very social group and find there is always more than one way to achieve a desired result.

Some of the items we make are in the Display cabinet in the Century House front lobby. We work all year to prepare for the annual Summer Bazaar and Winter Craft Sale. New ideas and patterns are always welcome.

If you are looking for something special, please drop in and see us as we have an extensive variety of quality handcrafted items that can be purchased during our meetings.

Donations: The Wednesday Crafts Group depends on the donation of supplies. The type and scope of donations determines what we can craft. All donations are shared between the Tuesday and Wednesday Craft Groups as well as the Quilting Group.

When do we meet?
