What We Do: The Moody Blues Slo-Pitch Team is part of a recreational, mixed League.
Important to Know:
We have around 12 men and 5 women on the team. Men have to be 55 years old and women 50 years old. We start practising the beginning of April and sometimes have players on a ‘spare board’. Our Home Games are usually Thursday mornings at the Moody Park field behind Century House.
A baseball glove and shoes (or good runners) are required. Team members make sandwiches or dessert about 3 times per season.
When Do We Meet?: We play Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 10:00 a.m. at various parks in the Lower Mainland from the end of April until the end of June. The Home Team supplies the lunch!
What Is the Cost?: $25 per year to pay for coffee and tea at lunch
