Liz Twaites retiring

Volunteer coordinator Liz Twaites is leaving us, sad to go but looking forward to more time with family, especially a granddaughter. Looking back on her career here, she said, “Never a dull moment.”  Shelly Schnee will be volunteer coordinator for now.

Of course we couldn’t have the usual sendoff party, so of course we had to have a Zoom party:

Happy retirement, Liz!

  1. Thank you to everyone for my farewell wishes. I really enjoyed my Zoom party , who would have thought this would be our new normal. The pandemic has limited my opportunity to say goodbye to all the amazing volunteers and Century House members who I have had the great joy and honour of knowing and working with. I take with me endless memories, and the most important lesson for my retirement that you have shown me, and that is to Go, Get, and Give!. Truly a recipe for a healthy fulfilling life.

Look forward to seeing you around Century House in the future!
    All the best

  2. Sorry I missed the Zoom farewell Liz. There are those that go above and beyond and make everything ‘look’ easy….you are one of ‘those’. Thanks for all of your hard work. Very best wishes on your retirement!

  3. Dear Liz,

  5. Liz, wishing you a wonderful retirement – enjoy, it is great, believe me. Thank you too for all the assistance you gave SPC and your kind, caring attitude. It was a pleasure “working” with you.
