Regular items not so regular

We will NOT have Coffee with Shelly on June 30. It will resume July 7.

There will be no lunch service on Canada Day, July 1. The menu for the rest of the week is here.

Canada Day

Celebrate Canada Day with a Century House Picnic Kit: a pre-packed meal with a pot pie, salad, cupcake, a drink and a free perennial plant for Seniors 50+. It’s $10.  Call 604-519-1066 or email CenturyHouse@newwestcity.ca to order for pickup on Tue. June 30th at Century House.

To all the Century House Association Members:

The Century House Association Executive would like to wish you all a Happy Canada Day. It seems so strange during these unusual times to not be out there celebrating with you. Thank goodness we live in Canada and in the City of New Westminster and that the COVID-19 curve is flattening.  If only we had a crystal ball to tell us when it will all be back to what is now being called the “New Normal.”

We are cautiously optimistic that some activities will start up again at Century House in October; however, it will not be the same as before.

For now we are thankful for the wonderful meals that the Connections Café is providing for takeout Monday to Friday and for all the work that the City staff are doing to keep everyone connected and safe.

We look forward to seeing you when the okay to reopen Century House is granted.
Keep safe and enjoy the summer.

Frances Blake, President, for the Executive
