Senior Week June 1-8

Senior Week is June 1-8 this year, and Century House is celebrating it virtually.  All week we’ll run a stroll-and-snap photo contest (win a gift card!) and an art and craft photo show.

 Community Income Tax Assistance

  • The  Living Hope Christian Church in New Westminster will be opening a Free Virtual Tax Clinic under the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP), Saturdays 9–noon, May 23rd and 30th.  Please call the church at 778-384-7656 to register.

Donation provides new funding

A sizable donation to the United Way of the Lower Mainland will support a Community Builder Program. New West will be one of the first community hubs to benefit from the program, starting in the Queensborough, Connaught and Kelvin neighbourhoods.. It will be provide support and critical services to seniors, and others. For more, see this New West Record article.
