Welcome to the Century House Mahjong Group page.
What We Do: Mahjong is a game of skill, strategy and calculation and involves a certain degree of chance. It is similar to the Western card game “Rummy”. It is much more challenging than the single player tile matching game called “Mahjong Solitaire”.
Mahjong is an extremely fun activity that may become addictive.
Important to Know: Some knowledge of a certain variation of the game is required. Lessons will be arranged provided you commit to join the group. This dream group is so much fun to play with. Each table will be 3 or 4 players.
When Do We Meet?: Thursdays at 9:45 a.m. Starting in September, we’ll meet at 9:30 a.m.
What Is the Cost?: $2 per week
Who Can Join?: Century House members
