Welcome to the Century House Square Dance Group Page.
What We Do: Teach you how to Square Dance and Round Dance with lessons accommodating all skill levels.
Important to Know: Discover the healthy benefits of Square and Round dancing. If you have never square danced before come in at noon on a Monday morning and we will have you dancing some basic steps in a few minutes. You will enjoy the “low impact” exercise, mental stimulation and friendly group camaraderie.
Regular clothing is quite acceptable although many of the members do wear the distinctive men’s and women’s costumes. New members will be warmly welcomed and there are lots of ‘angels’ available to teach you the steps and patterns of the dances. Although the time is divided into various sessions for different levels of experience, some dancers will come at the beginning and stay the entire time. Professional callers are used.
For a fun experience as well as a good workout with a friendly welcoming group, please consider joining us when we return in September.
