Saturday, February 22 INSPIRATION DAY    1:00 – 3:30 p.m.
Join us for another year of inspiration! Join Dr. Davidicus Wong and Laughter Zone 101 Comics for a day of wisdom, humour and inspirational activities. A Registered Dietitian and Certified Wellness Coach Jess Pirnak will do a presentation on mindful eating.   Limited tickets are $10 from the office. 

Wednesday, February 26 TACKY TOURIST DINNER   Happy Hour: 5 p.m. Dinner: 6 p.m.
Our special guest entertainers will be a couple, presenting several duo music tribute acts. Dress up in the tackiest of tacky tourist attire you can find. There will be some special prizes. For the first week of ticket sales a limited number of seats near the front will be saved for those with limited vision.  Members: $23, Non-members: $28

Tuesday, January 7    LOW VISION   10:00 a.m. – with Isobel Mackenzie, Seniors Advocate for B.C. We look forward to hearing about her role and to presenting some issues of concern and interest to low vision seniors.  Please bring your thoughts about what it is like to be a senior with low vision in B.C.  

Wednesday January 8  CENTURY HOUSE ASSOCIATION ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING  10:00 a.m. will include the election of officers for your 2020 Executive Committee and a report of year end highlights from the various Activity Committees. Everyone is invited to say farewell to Robyn McGuinness, Manager of Seniors and Youth Services for the City, who is retiring this month. Robyn was a programmer at Century House from 1980 to 1986, and returned in 2015 to manage Century House. Join us for refreshments and a farewell celebration at about 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

BYOD party (Bring Your Own Device) and Computer Lab Open House          11:00 am – noon 
Having trouble with your brand new smart phone? Want to make more effective use of your internet browser? Then join us to discuss your digital questions, issues or challenges. Our technology trainers will be available to work with Century House members. Help shape future computer technology programs and workshops and/or find a trainer to work with one on one.
